Located in the Santa Clara Puye Canyon, the project scope consisted ofbuilding multiple cabins, shade structures, a group camping shelter, and day shelters. The project also included the design and installation of a prefabricated metal building that would fit into the landscape without being obtrusive. Starting the project in late August of 2017, Kha’P’o Construction had to work through extreme winter weather conditions, and deal with dirt roads and 2-way radio communication limitations. Despite many project challenges, Kha’P’o Construction was still able to complete the job on time and within budget.
